Prime Air Quality is seeking an experienced Sr. Design Quality Assurance
Engineer. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading
Hardware/Software Quality and Design Assurance engineering initiatives for
certifying highly complex products in the aerospace, aviation maintenance
industries. The right candidate will also be a strong integrator who prioritizes
well and communicates effectively.

Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control
license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is
contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license
on your behalf.

Requirements

• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
• Experience in aviation regulatory compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years’ experience leading software quality assurance activities from inception of project to delivery to support DO-178C certification, and DO-330, DO-331, DO-332
• 7+ years' experience auditing design activities and perform process assurance activities to ensure lifecycle processes comply with approved plans and standards (ARP-4754)
• 5+ years' experience monitoring test execution
• 5+ years' experience performing conformity reviews
• 5+ years' experience participating FAA audits and change control boards
• Strong command of product development lifecycle processes
• Demonstrated Experience with PLM, JAMA, and other common tools

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
• Experience with the project management of technical projects
• 10+ years' experience with DQA activities in DO-178 Compliance and Auditing
• 5+ years' experience with DO-254 and DO-278 Compliance and Auditing
• Demonstrated Experience with (FAA) 14 CFR 21.137 requirements
