The Sr. Director, Consumer and Digital Marketing will play a key role on the Marketing Team. This high visibility position will serve as a brand champion for the company's flagship brand, responsible for driving consumer engagement, digital innovation and brand growth across key channels. The right person for this role will be a strategic thinker with a strong bias for action including developing big picture plans and executing with precision. The position will report to the Head of Marketing and will manage direct reports, as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Market Analysis and develop strategic and tactical consumer marketing plans.
  • Develop Consumer Marketing/Media/Digital Infrastructure.
  • Integrate fully with the healthcare professional marketing team to ensure alignment, strategies, messaging and execution.
  • Lead media planning and CRM /Omnichannel planning.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the consumer and media/ digital marketing team.
  • Lead patient advocacy development, building partnerships with key advocacy associations and marketing opportunities.
  • Develop campaigns and focus on execution.
  • Lead the efficient execution of multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Develop and optimize campaign performance by maximizing ROI across consumer programs.
  • Manage and direct the consumer and media budgets.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in relevant discipline; MBA preferred
  • 10-15+ years progressive pharmaceutical, biotech, or Consumer Product Management/Marketing experience
  • Strong digital and social media acumen / experience marketing to a specific type of consumer with measurable success
  • Strong and proven traditional and digital media planning and analysis
  • Proven track record of innovative consumer marketing accomplishments/high impact results (based on metrics/ROI)
  • Prior team leadership and/or management experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to hit the ground running
