About the position

Cadent ignites seamless connections between brands, publishers & consumers. Our predictive AI orchestrates outcomes on any platform customers are on, across any media they consume & at any stage of the journey. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Director of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives and drive brand growth, market expansion, and revenue impact. This role will oversee brand, digital, events, and performance marketing functions, working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Client Success teams to align on growth priorities. The ideal candidate is a seasoned adtech marketer with deep expertise in events, advertising, lead gen, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams and scalable marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Cadent's goals and revenue targets.
  • Contribute to integrated marketing planning across brand, product, demand generation, events, and communications.
  • Help manage and grow a high-performing team of marketers.
  • Define and evolve Cadent's brand messaging to clearly communicate our value proposition to marketers, agencies, publishers, and tech partners.
  • Establish the company as a thought leader in AdTech through PR, analyst relations, and executive visibility.
  • Ensure consistent brand expression across all touchpoints.
  • Manage Cadent's national and local event presence including uncovering opportunities and planning for the year and executing events and experiences for the Cadent brand with precision ensuring an amazing brand presence.
  • Handle all logistics including branding, sponsorship details and contracting, promotion and liaise with GTM team to ensure attendance and client/prospect interaction opportunities.
  • Own and scale lead generation programs that convert into qualified pipeline and revenue.
  • Oversee paid media, content syndication, email, ABM, and partner marketing strategies.
  • Optimize campaign performance using metrics such as CAC, MQL to SQL conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor moves, and customer needs.
  • Use data to measure marketing effectiveness and guide strategic decisions.
  • Build marketing dashboards and attribution models to report on KPIs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within AdTech, MarTech, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success in building brand awareness and generating pipeline in a technical, complex sales environment.
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, media buying cycles, and advertising technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing marketing performance and reporting tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Tableau).
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor high-impact marketing teams.
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA is a plus.
