About The Position

You will lead the engineering of fiber optic networks, ensuring precision from site layout to civil analysis. This is a pivotal role designed for a leader who can manage complex projects, mentor junior talent, and drive innovation in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.

The Mission:
Strategic Design: Engineer complex site layouts, including grading, stormwater management, and culvert design, while applying advanced concepts.
Fiber & Utility Innovation: Architect new and relocated fiber optic routes within public and private rights-of-way, navigating jurisdictional permits and OSP specifications.
Operational Leadership: Partner with management to oversee resource allocation, streamline job flow, and maintain the highest standards of quality and timeliness.
Mentorship: Act as a technical touchstone, providing guidance and training to junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence.

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering (or Tech). EIT required
• 4+ years of engineering expertise. OSP Fiber experience is required.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D or GIS preferred) and structural calculation software.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while interacting with multi-disciplinary teams to expedite approvals.
