This role is for a Gas Turbine Integration Leader supporting the LM2500 program reporting directly to LM2500 Systems Leader. The role will be heavily focused on leading and coordination of Reliability, Availability and Maintainability focused programs across the LM2500 fleet. Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. All activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the users needs. The discipline that executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed. Process that proceeds from concept to production to operation. The Systems Integration Leader will be responsible for setting engineering priorities and direction for the engineering team working collaboratively with internal and external teams. The role requires leadership and coordination of both internal and external facing engineering teams to ensure the LM2500 program objectives, customer needs and systems engineering processes and directives are net. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment. This includes providing technical direction and project leadership to deliver on all safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
