About The Position

About the Role: Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to serve as the dedicated finance partner for our manufacturing plant. This is a highly visible, hands-on role embedded with plant leadership, supporting daily and strategic decision-making across labor, production, yield, and cost performance. In this role, you will work closely with Plant Managers and Operations leaders to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and drive accountability to operating plans. This position is ideal for a senior-level finance professional who understands manufacturing environments and thrives in fast-paced, operational settings. The role reports to our Indianapolis support center and requires on-site work at the Van Buren, Indiana plant one to two days per week. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • 4-8 years of progressive experience in Operations Finance, FP&A, or cost accounting within a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing or CPG strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of plant operations, manufacturing cost structures, and labor-driven environments.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to connect operational drivers to financial performance.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and influence without authority.
  • Strong communication skills with experience partnering directly with plant and operations leadership.
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and BI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary finance partner to plant leadership, providing financial insight at daily, weekly, and monthly operating reviews.
  • Analyze labor efficiency, overtime, yield, scrap, and conversion costs to support productivity and margin improvement.
  • Develop and maintain plant-level forecasts for labor, volume, and manufacturing costs.
  • Prepare monthly financial results and variance analyses, translating data into clear operational insights.
  • Support annual budgets and operating plans, ensuring assumptions align with plant capabilities and production plans.
  • Partner cross-functionally on productivity initiatives, cost-reduction efforts, and capital investment analysis.
  • Improve plant-level financial reporting, controls, and analytical processes.
