Serves as a liaison between leaders of a business unit, division, or profit center and the corporate human resources function. Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, which may include administration of compensation programs, training and development, employee relations, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance. Collects and analyzes internal and external information in order to compare the organization’s HR practices to those prevailing in the market. Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations. Provides consultative guidance and coaching to leaders on human resources-related matters, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives. Informs and implements organizational development, workforce or succession planning, training, or performance management strategies as developed by the parent organization.
