About The Position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. HR Business Partner – Operations Blue Origin’s Operations organization builds the systems that power our mission to build a road to space. As manufacturing and production capabilities expand across multiple sites, the workforce strategy supporting those teams must scale with equal rigor. We are seeking a HR Business Partner to operate as a strategic advisor and operational partner to senior leaders within our Operations organization. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, workforce architecture, and organizational performance, ensuring the organization has the leadership capability, workforce structure, and talent strategy required to execute at scale. Unlike traditional HR roles focused on tactical employee support, this position operates primarily at the organizational and leadership level, partnering with senior operational leaders to solve complex business challenges related to workforce strategy, organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and operational performance. This role requires someone who brings both strategic perspective and operational execution—a working leader who can translate business priorities into actionable workforce solutions while influencing across multiple partner teams. Role Overview: As a Senior HR Business Partner supporting Operations, you will work alongside leaders responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, production, and engineering teams that are scaling rapidly to meet mission demand. You will play a central role in shaping how the organization grows—helping leaders navigate organizational change, workforce scaling, leadership capability development, and operational workforce strategy across a mixed population of hourly technicians, engineers, and operational leaders. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with broad influence across the business and HR ecosystem. The successful candidate will bring deep experience supporting operational environments and will be comfortable operating in fast-paced conditions where both speed and sound judgment are required. This role is best suited for someone who is energized by solving complex organizational challenges, partnering closely with leaders, and building practical workforce solutions that enable operational performance.
