About The Position

Neo4j is looking for a Sr. IT Infrastructure Engineer working remotely in the US! We continue to grow and are looking for a resourceful, people-focused, and tenacious Engineer. The successful candidate will prioritize automating IT deliverables and working collaboratively with the business. As we continue to scale IT’s capabilities, having an understanding of enterprise IT maturity and knowing what great can look like is critical to achieving our goals. You are an expert at working with cross-functional teams, can deal with a lot of ambiguity, and synthesize large amounts of information into a straightforward story that keeps everyone aligned. You’re a self-starter who loves to own things end-to-end. You make things happen and like being rewarded with autonomy. What you’ll do: Scale our tools (endpoint, identity, and infrastructure). Improve our users' experience by applying your deep understanding of cloud-first IT. Deliver solutions & suggest tools that integrate with our existing tech stack to help us meet the demands of the business. Effectively manage IT infrastructure operations and peer closely with Security.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of corporate experience with:
  • Integrating systems and automating processes via API, custom scripts, or no/low code solutions, with some of the following languages and tools: bash, python, javascript, Postman, AWS Lambda, Workato, Okta Workflows.
  • SaaS administration, automation, integrations, and management of platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, O365, Github, Atlassian suite, Zoom, and Crowdstrike Falcon.
  • Policies, configurations, patch management, and scripting on MDM solutions such as JAMF & Intune
  • Managing incidents, changes, knowledge bases, and service requests on a ticketing platform within ITIL standards.
  • Cloud management: tagging, IAM, managing subscriptions/projects/accounts, and leveraging best practices with respect to AWS Control Tower or equivalent in a multi-cloud environment while supporting the needs of business users.

Responsibilities

  • Extending our use of identity and access management, contributing to IT processes, automation, documentation, and project management, and cloud governance and access management.
  • Developing resilient integrations to connect systems and databases.
  • Automating everyday tasks (with a focus on low/no-code systems when available.)
  • Managing and implementing projects with business teams, including documentation, change management, and translating user requirements.
  • Effectively collaborating with a distributed, global IT team and workforce to resolve incidents and outages.
  • Acting as the SME for many of the below systems and platforms, and writing documentation to enable the rest of the team to help support those platforms.
