About the position

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking an exceptional Creative Advertising executive for our Film Marketing team to develop innovative, award-winning 360° creative advertising campaigns for our theatrical releases. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of theatrical marketing at a pivotal time in the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will be a creative leader who can craft premium, breakthrough campaigns that captivate global audiences and drive box office success. As part of the MGM Theatrical team, you'll be responsible for launching films with full global theatrical distribution and marketing campaigns during an exciting period of unprecedented growth and investment.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the strategic vision and creative execution of global marketing campaigns for MGM's theatrical slate
  • Drive innovation in trailer development, TV spots, radio, and outdoor campaigns to maximize ticket sales
  • Pioneer new approaches in theatrical marketing while leveraging cross-platform insights
  • Lead ideation and development of breakthrough creative concepts for tentpole theatrical releases
  • Oversee campaign execution across multiple budget tiers, from independent films to major blockbusters
  • Guide and elevate creative output from top-tier partners
  • Navigate complex, multi-territory projects with strategic global vision
  • Command the room when presenting creative concepts to senior studio leadership and filmmakers
  • Foster collaboration between theatrical and streaming teams to maximize overall film success
  • Transform constructive feedback into elevated creative solutions while maintaining campaign integrity

Requirements

  • 10+ years of entertainment marketing experience with proven theatrical success
  • Substantial creative agency, studios or streaming background, with demonstrable theatrical campaign achievements
