About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a remote Senior Lead IT Product Manager to join our team! Location: Remote – United States Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility. Work Schedule: This is a full‑time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible. The Senior Lead IT Product Manager defines the strategic vision, roadmap, and value delivery for a core digital product within Labcorp’s Client Connectivity and Clinical Digital Solutions portfolio. This role owns the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, directing both discovery and delivery stages to ensure measurable value for customers and the business. The position leads cross‑functional teams, provides direction to Product Owners, and synthesizes customer insights, market intelligence, and enterprise priorities into actionable product plans. This role also oversees an AI‑enabled workflow optimization product and partners closely with engineering, UX, AI teams, internal business stakeholders, and external collaborators to develop and evolve the product strategy. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior experience working at Labcorp.
  • 6 or more years of experience in product management overseeing complex digital products.
  • Experience leading or managing Product Owners or product teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, biopharma, or life sciences.
  • Experience with workflow optimization products or enterprise‑scale applications.
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks and product delivery processes.
  • Familiarity with AI‑enabled or machine‑learning‑enabled product capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership Define and maintain the long‑term product strategy, vision, and multi‑year roadmap.
  • Ensure product decisions reflect customer needs, market insights, business priorities, and competitive trends.
  • Lead discovery initiatives including user interviews, concept validation, and solution exploration.
  • Establish and track KPIs aligned to strategic business outcomes.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on value, ROI, and organizational alignment.
  • Product Delivery & Execution Translate strategy into clear epics, features, and user stories in partnership with Product Owners.
  • Partner with engineering, UX, data/AI teams, program management, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Oversee product performance metrics and adjust plans based on insights and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements across all product features.
  • Support go‑to‑market planning, change management activities, and stakeholder readiness.
  • People Leadership & Team Development Manage Product Owners and guide additional contributors within the product team.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance to support team growth and alignment.
  • Promote a strong product culture focused on collaboration, user value, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster strategic alignment and communication across cross‑functional partners and leadership.
