About The Position

The Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Specialist will report to the Email Marketing Manager in the Marketing department. This role is responsible for implementation and management of our engagement, transactional, and acquisition campaigns. In this role, the incumbent will work closely with internal and external teams to create, optimize, and manage business-wide marketing automation programs and projects, including product utilization campaigns and data quality initiatives. To be successful in this role, the incumbent should display a deep knowledge of email tools, marketing automation, customer data management, and a passion for analytics.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Marketing
  • 5+ Years of Enterprise Marketing Automation platforms such as Iterable
  • 3+ years relational databases (MS SQL Server) to construct complex SQL queries
  • Proficiency with email coding best practices (such as handlebars and liquid)
  • Experience in managing content across multiple platform (SMS, Email, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of all aspects marketing automation best practices
  • Experience in HTML, JAVA, SQL and
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • B2B and B2C experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead First Dollar in digital eco-system automation and be responsible for providing best practices
  • Manages platform-wide marketing automation programs and projects across the customer lifecycle including adoption, product utilization, and transactional
  • Implement and manage audience segments to optimize targeting, engagement, and conversion based on our Client’s communication preferences.
  • Must be able to lead and manage several projects and stakeholders across multiple digital platforms (SMS, email, etc.)
  • Develop test plans that allow for rapid iterations, monitor results and communicate to cross functional teams
  • Plan and deploy email file development, email sender score health, and deliverability growth; drives collaboration with IT team and 3rd party ESP teams to ensure healthy email platform operations.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of automated data syncs across multiple databases to populate audience email data using SQL queries and scripting
  • Working with external projects and teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects from creative to deployment
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and compliance to build, launch and iterate on new features
  • Represent marketing in client stakeholder meetings to identify communication requirements for brand implementations
