Raytheon is seeking a Sr. Logistics Analyst to support the Packaging and Shipping Department at our El Segundo, CA location.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in logistics and/or transportation
  • Experience in SAP PRISM/APEX or equivalent business system
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in aerospace or government work environment
  • Dangerous Goods certification in 49CFR, IATA, and IMDG
  • Experience with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), and Defense Transportation Regulations
  • Experience with processing classified and hazardous shipments
  • Import/Export Compliance experience

Responsibilities

  • Route shipments via various Raytheon approved freight carriers: small parcel, LTL, FTL
  • Work with Pack/Ship and Raytheon customers to verify documentation and hardware
  • Utilize vendor order management platforms to request freight bookings
  • Work cross functionally with export compliance teams to manage ITAR regulated shipments
  • Ensure compliance to 49 CFR and IATA transportation requirements on Dangerous Goods type shipments
  • Review contracts for shipment routing requirements
  • Support all safety initiatives and requirements
  • Perform incidental related duties as assigned or requested
  • Required to lift, move, or push 28 pounds without the aid of material handling equipment
