Senior Manager, Communications As the Senior Manager of Communications at Aven Hospitality, you will be responsible for building the company’s reputation and leading the delivery of our global brand narrative. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Product Marketing, you will lead the strategy to position Aven as the definitive leader in hospitality technology. You’ll bridge the gap between complex tech and human-centric storytelling to amplify our voice and drive brand obsession among hoteliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in corporate communications, brand, or public relations, with at least 5 years in B2B tech companies (travel and hospitality experience preferred).
  • A proven track record in building and executing integrated communications strategies that drive brand awareness, positive perception, and business growth.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex technology into compelling narratives.
  • Excellent communication, project management and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring platforms, social media tools, and content management systems.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment with a hands-on, builder mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Messaging: Build and refine the core company story and high-level messaging, equipping stakeholders with the materials needed to deliver a consistent message that resonates.
  • Media & Public Relations: Protect and enhance the company’s reputation by managing external communications and media outreach to drive brand awareness and position us as thought leaders and industry experts through earned media and strategic paid placements to increase brand awareness and share of voice.
  • Executive Visibility & Thought Leadership: Identify and secure speaking slots at industry events, ensure stakeholders are properly prepped and on-message, and actively seek opportunities to inject the company’s narrative into trending industry conversations; Manage industry memberships.
  • Content Marketing: Plan and produce high-value assets like blogs, articles, guides and case studies to support both top-of-funnel awareness and bottom-of-funnel demand generation.
  • Social Media: Build LinkedIn Strategy that aligns with broader marketing goals to drive engagement and professional authority, maintaining a calendar and executing a consistent posting schedule.
  • Agency Oversight & Budget: Lead global PR agencies. Manage communications budgets to ensure ROI across campaigns and initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs, measure success, and communicate monthly.
