Sr. Manager, Corporate Communications

Match GroupNew York, NY
3d$180,000 - $200,000Hybrid

About The Position

Match Group is looking for a communications professional to support external storytelling efforts. You'll help translate what's happening at Match Group (and across our brands) into earned media stories that resonate externally and reinforce our mission of sparking meaningful connections for every single person worldwide. This is a great opportunity for a strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and is looking to deepen their (already sharp) skills in executive and financial comms, media relations, data storytelling, and integrated campaigns. Know where you belong. Match Group is a leading provider of dating platforms across the globe. Our portfolio includes Tinder, Match, Hinge, PlentyOfFish, The League, and others, each designed to spark meaningful connections for singles worldwide. Creating a sense of belonging doesn’t stop at our platforms - it’s the foundation of every team we hire. When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our NYC office 3 days/week.

Requirements

  • 7+ Years Experience: Ideally in public relations or communications, with some agency experience.
  • Media Relations Experience: Demonstrated success in pitching media and landing earned coverage across business and/or tech. You know a good story when you see one and how to frame it for a reporter.
  • Clear, Concise Communication Skills: Exceptional written/oral communication skills and an ability to adapt your tone to fit different formats.
  • Culturally Engaged: Interested in dating, relationships, internet culture, and the conversations shaping how people connect.
  • Team-Oriented: Collaborative, flexible, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across time zones and regions to achieve the best outcome.
  • Research-Minded: You ask thoughtful questions and enjoy digging into data or trends to find story potential.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong follow-through on tasks big and small.
  • Initiative & Adaptability: You're confident prioritizing your work, troubleshooting issues as they arise, knowing when to escalate or ask for input, and staying flexible as priorities shift.
  • Values-Aligned: You’re excited to support a mission that centers on connection, empathy, and authenticity, and help others see that in our stories.

  • Support Team Operations: Help maintain team tools, calendars, and process documentation in support of our communications function running smoothly and efficiently.
