We are seeking a technically strong and strategic Sr. Manager of Integrated System Planning to lead long-term resource planning. This role centers on advanced modeling and analysis using tools such as PLEXOS, and Aurora to capacity expansion, production cost modeling, resource adequacy, and load forecasting. In addition to deep technical and analytical responsibilities, the role is also public-facing, requiring strong communication skills to engage effectively with regulators and public service commissions. A background in engineering, economics, or a related field is preferred, along with demonstrated leadership experience guiding high-performing technical teams.Job Overview This job is responsible for directing and managing the distribution planning efforts for the FPL area and provides expansion plans for the FPL distribution system and FPL's customers. Leaders in this role are responsibilities also include formulating and implementing value-add and transformative strategic initiatives to achieve and sustain successful planning results in a compliant, cost effective, flexible distribution system that can be operated to provide a very reliable energy supply to FPL's customers.
