Position Purpose: The Sr. Manager, Merchandise Planning, HDD will be responsible for execution of assortment reviews and strategic planning/analysis of online programs. This individual would develop pricing & profitability analytics and provide store side Merchandising with the insights needed to grow total market share. The Sr. Manager, Merchandise Planning is responsible for analyzing data to identify opportunities across all depts and providing recommendations to senior leadership. Utilizes online tools and capabilities to ensure multi channel alignment.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
  • 10 years of work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Online and/or Retail Store Experience. Both preferred.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate and interpret complex data from varying sources.
  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Epiphany and/ or Omniture preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive consistent category-level strategy planning with Merchants: coordination of necessary data from both store and online systems, development of project templates and concise reporting results for Online and Store Merchants
  • Responsible for the development of standard reporting tools, supervising data collection and reporting distribution
  • Partner with functional areas such as Supply Chain, Core Merchandising, Vendor Compliance and Inventory Management to ensure effective solutions that can be leveraged across all areas
  • Manage work activities and provide development of direct reports
  • Serve as primarily liaison with Merchandising Execution team to ensure inclusion of online strategies in product line reviews and synergies between online and core merchandising assortments
