About The Position

Support Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) and Instrument and Enterprise Services Division (IES) to develop and implement the Division’s global pricing strategy. Lead and coach a team of Pricing Analysts; build a strong team and develop high potential talent by creating a successful work environment. Apply pricing expertise and data analytics to bring forward insights and recommendations to business leadership that make a measurable impact on growth objectives. Lead pricing forecast, improve forecasting model and process, and drive alignment among cross-functional business partners. Proactively review and optimize pricing approval process and Discount Authority Matrix (DAM) to balance and optimize price realization and commercial efficiency. Handle pricing reporting and performance reviews with division and functional leadership. Lead annual price roll and all the off-cycle price update processes. Collaborate with Data Analytics team to build pricing tools, models, and dashboards to empower business to make informed pricing decisions. Collaborate with IES division key stakeholders, other AIG pricing teams, Corporate Global Strategic Pricing team (GSP) to drive continual process improvements and adopt good practices. Travel: Up to 20% domestic and international travel required. Can work remotely or telecommute.

Requirements

  • MINIMUM Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field of study.
  • MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 7 years of experience in Pricing, Finance, Marketing, Product Management, Commercial, or related experience.
  • Alternative Education and Experience Requirement: Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in Pricing, Finance, Marketing, Product Management, Commercial, or related experience.
  • Experience using Excel to analyze large datasets and build data models
  • Developing and implementing pricing strategies for products or services, including dynamic pricing, tiered pricing, and promotional pricing
  • Using data analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SQL to gather insights from large datasets and inform pricing decisions
  • Experience of setting up Key Value Indicators (KVI’s) and developing price elasticities, and proper adjustment of pricing to mitigate inflation
  • Managing multiple projects, processes, and assignments with varying deadlines
  • Experience managing people
