The Sr Manager, Product Marketing leads a team of Product Marketing Managers that collaborate with product, sales, and marketing stakeholders to drive marketing strategy for new/emerging products and bring industry-disrupting products to market. Moreover, the role functions as the business owner for those products, ensuring commercial goals are met across channels, and driving the point of view for how to maximize impact from each product. This role provides supervision, direction and coaching to Product Marketing Managers and ensures they have a deep understanding of the consumer product mindset, market position, and offerings to deliver on business goals. This position defines product positioning, messaging, and content strategy across the customer life-cycle to engage our customers and enable profitable growth for each product. Job Responsibilities: Selects, manages and evaluates a team of Product Marketers. Provides ongoing coaching, guidance and individual professional development to direct reports. Functions as business owner for a portfolio of T-Mobile’s products, and as the SME on sales performance, customer needs and pain points, product roadmap, and in-market/planned initiatives for each product. Increases sales pipeline and prospects by developing product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonate with customers and produce the source messaging blueprint. Liaisons with leadership to drive the right pricing and promotional mix that meet business objectives while maximizing revenue and margins. Oversees the creation of product content to be used both internally and externally, including collateral, data sheets, technical briefs, whitepapers, videos and customer-facing presentations. Supports team in facilitating presentations, webinars and training sessions to non-technical audiences. Drives team to collaborate and build effective sales tools, training materials, FAQS that enable sales, SE’s and partners to sell effectively. Supports launch planning and orchestrates execution of the commercial release of new products and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. Works across the team and cross-functionally to monitor and report on the performance of products and communicate results of related sales and marketing efforts to key stakeholders. Uses business and financial analysis to drive strategy, product retention and support up-sell/cross-sell strategies. Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed. Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or relevant field of study such as Computer Science (Required) 7+ years of experience delivering successful, holistic product marketing content and collateral that can be tied to increased business revenue (Required) 2+ years supervisory and/or leadership experience ( Required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Leadership: Strong leadership skills with proven ability to drive individuals and teams toward results; capacity to effectively provide feedback and coaching, able to mentor and guide individuals and/or teams. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
