In this role, you will coordinate the digital architecture and automation processes of manufacturing operations. You will work cross-functionally to implement solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency and connect physical and digital environments. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in engineering or operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MES systems and ERP integration points.
- Proficiency in SQL databases and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) and PMP preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial automation standards and shop floor hardware (PLCs, IoT sensors).
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with project management for new system implementations and software upgrades.
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of core manufacturing systems, including MES.
- Serve as the technical expert to provide necessary support and training.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems reliability and availability.
- Support governance frameworks and performance metrics in the manufacturing program.
- Translate business requirements into technical system solutions with various departments.
- Own process improvement recommendations using digital tools and new technology.
- Ensure data integrity from the shop floor to management reports.
- Mentor and train users of the manufacturing systems.
- Develop training materials and standard operating procedures (SOP) for end-users.
