About the position

The position involves providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers in order to drive business decisions and address business questions. The role requires creating high-quality, value-driven work that centers the user in decision-making and collaborates with the team for speed, agility, and innovation. Responsibilities include producing forecasts, reports, dashboards, and actionable insights to support business decisions, as well as improving processes through analytics and metrics. The position also involves delivering results to department leaders and stakeholders, producing reports that show key performance indicators, and identifying areas for improvement in current operations. The candidate will need to have deep expertise in at least one business area and apply data visualization best practices to deliverables. Additionally, the role requires consultation with business clients, contributing to organizational growth through sharing insights, and supporting ad hoc analytics requests from marketing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers.
  • Creates and is accountable for high quality, value driven work that drives business outcomes.
  • Creates and produces forecasts, reports, dashboards, etc. to tell a story through data.
  • Utilizes analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts.
  • Delivers results to Department leaders and Stakeholders.
  • Delivers insights and recommendations to business audience to support business decisions.
  • Produces actionable reports that show key performance indicators and identify areas of improvement.
  • Deep expertise in at least one business area or domain.
  • Applies data visualization best practices to work deliverables.
  • Seeks to understand business processes and captures refined process documents.
  • Implements best practices, methodologies, standards, and processes to share across teams.
  • Takes initiatives to design and develop deliverables based on findings and business client needs.
  • Provides consultation to business clients and participates in cross-functional teams.
  • Contributes to the growth & development of the organization through sharing results & insights.
  • Identifies & captures business requirements, develops KPI frameworks.
  • Regularly applies new perspectives and creative problem solving.
  • Provides strategic direction and support for advanced analytics.
  • Helps define and implement consistent measurement standards and reporting.
  • Provides data to drive actionable insights.
  • Supports Ad Hoc analytics requests from marketing stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Marketing or related field.
  • At least 4-5 years of professional experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience working in marketing analytics related field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience doing marketing analytics work.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in research and data analysis.
  • Expertise in development and application of analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, MS Excel, SPSS, R, Python.
  • Experience with visualization tooling like PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools, Adobe Analytics preferred.
  • Ability to access, gather, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies across the customer life cycle.
  • Ability to convey analytical and technical concepts to non-analytical staff.
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong detail orientation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with strategic development and/or building propensity, media mix, multi-touch attribution, regression, predictive, or uplift models.
  • Experience with campaign management tools and analytical platforms.
