About the position

The Toys & Entertainment team is seeking a creative, analytical and strategic experienced marketer to grow the Toy business in the Amazon store. The Senior Marketing Manager, will drive growth and deliver a best-in-class customer experience in the Amazon store while reviewing and automating process to deliver scalable solutions that increase efficiency. To be successful in this role you will have a mix of merchandising, marketing, analytical, relationship management and organizational skills. You work autonomously, make smart decisions and are an expert in development and deployment of campaign strategies leveraging available marketing levers. You have demonstrable experience in managing complex cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders, and juggling multiple competing priorities. You will uphold high editorial and marketing standards and processes and be responsible for maintaining a clear, consistent brand voice across those areas. You will lead development and execution of marketing campaign strategies to drive incremental traffic, engagement, and sales. Directing customer journey mapping analysis to optimize storefront experiences, gifting, search functionality, detail page content, navigation, and event experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and vendor partners to define category priorities and marketing strategies. You will shape the future direction of the Toys business through data-driven decision making and innovative approaches to customer engagement. Success in this role requires exceptional strategic thinking, proven onsite merchandising and marketing expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders while managing complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute comprehensive marketing initiatives for Holiday, Seasonal, and high-value events, partnering with enterprise marketing teams and Vendor Managers to maximize business impact
  • Design and implement quarterly campaign strategies that align with category vision, optimize customer targeting, and drive measurable business results
  • Lead strategic analysis of end-to-end customer journey metrics to identify opportunities for experience transformation and growth acceleration
  • Develop and execute innovative testing strategies for new content types, defining strategic framework, success metrics, and scalability plans
  • Champion strategic Toys category priorities within enterprise marketing events to ensure alignment with category vision and business objectives
  • Direct Go-to-Market strategy and implementation for deals and category-specific events, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy
  • Define and execute customer acquisition strategy, identifying new growth opportunities and optimizing existing channels
  • Lead vendor co-op strategy, planning, and negotiations for onsite placements, ensuring execution excellence and measurable performance outcomes
  • Shape automated marketing strategy and implementation, advocating for customer experience while driving category objectives and business growth

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
