This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. This role is responsible for leading high impact technical projects for the New Glenn Advanced Upper Stage. As a Materials & Processes engineer, you will participate in a range of design reviews, sign engineering drawings, develop and qualify materials and processes, and perform verification activities in accordance with our Parts, Materials, and Processes Plan. Your broad experience in materials & processes for metallics (e.g. forging, forming, extrusion, plating, corrosion, coating, brazing, anodization, welding, passivation), and non-metallics (e.g. carbon fiber composites, adhesives, coatings, SOFI) will be impactful to the team as we refine processes and engineering designs. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention to drive down the cost of safe and repeatable spaceflight We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to build the road to space.
