About The Position

As a Senior Manager of Global Environmental Compliance & Strategy, you will define and drive the environmental vision for the enterprise. This role provides strategic leadership by setting global direction, governing environmental performance, and ensuring alignment with enterprise sustainability commitments. You will strengthen governance frameworks, translate strategy into actionable global programs, and oversee execution to ensure compliance and organizational maturity. Success in this role requires strong systems thinking, credible technical depth, and the ability to build and elevate environmental capability across a complex global footprint.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in environmental science/engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 10+ years leading global environmental programs in complex manufacturing environments and multi‑tier value chains.
  • Proven experience implementing environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001), managing permitting and regulatory compliance, and developing enterprise environmental standards.

Nice To Haves

  • ISO 14001 Lead Auditor / Practitioner certification (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge or experience related to human‑rights due diligence within environmental programs.
  • Familiarity with EHS management linkages (e.g., ISO 45001 awareness).
  • Demonstrated command of environmental audit readiness across multi‑regional operations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence leadership and coordinate large-scale global programs.
  • Experience creating environmental KPIs, dashboards, and delivering ESG‑aligned internal/external reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Set and execute the global environmental strategy, translating enterprise goals into actionable programs across all regions and business units.
  • Lead and govern environmental management systems, including the Environmental Principle of the EHS (PEC) framework, enterprise standards, and audit/permit compliance.
  • Strengthen environmental performance and risk management by enabling continuous improvement, partnering with Chemical Management, and embedding supplier and contractor due‑diligence expectations.
  • Integrate sustainability and human‑rights considerations into environmental governance and ensure transparent reporting for ESG requirements.
  • Advance environmental KPIs and reporting by developing dashboards and delivering internal and external ESG‑aligned communications.
  • Drive global, cross‑functional collaboration and communicate effectively with executive leadership to deliver measurable enterprise environmental results.
