About The Position

Execute planning processes resulting in strategic alignment across multiple stakeholders to develop infrastructure capacity plans for the acquisition of data center space and power. Establish capacity plans through forecasting process and manage strategic execution, including supporting the acquisition of long lead infrastructure for new regions. Dive deep into planning models to identify risks and opportunities for region health and resolve constraints by negotiating across demand and supply owners. Conduct modeling and scenario analysis to make data-driven recommendations that inform capacity and capital expenditure decisions. Clearly define data requirements and metrics, working with teams to implement the entire data flow from capture to presentation and management. Partner with key stakeholders to bridge changes in demand, addressing short and long-term capacity constraints, and writing supporting documentation for capital expenditures. Identifying opportunities to invent and simplify processes, identifying business risks and implementing resolutions and scalable mechanisms. Drive activities required to create capital expenditure plans for data center infrastructure globally. Drive accountability across the Infrastructure organization and develop mechanisms to monitor and escalate against the health of the infrastructure business to executive leadership. Manage a team of seven employees and develop a high performing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field and nine years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Must have five years of experience in the following skills: leading and developing teams.
  • Must also have three years of experience in the following skills: experience with demand, supply, and capacity planning; owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to executive leadership; and using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel to perform role responsibilities may be required.
