About The Position

Florida Atlantic University’s Business Services is seeking a Parking and Transportation Senior Motor Vehicle Operator - Boca Raton, FL. This position reports to the Associate Director of Parking and Transportation and will be responsible for providing first-line customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors regarding general parking and transportation matters.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license and have an acceptable driving record.
• Completion of the ninth grade.
• Capability to lift 40 lbs.
• Must have customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe transport of students, staff and faculty via 20+ passenger van or large bus, at various times for scheduled events or trips to/from airports.
• Coordinate, schedule, implement regular maintenance, service and repair of the vehicle's mechanical and safety operating systems.
• Properly document vehicle inspections and complete required paperwork.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and to maintain a clean interior and exterior as required.
• Assist Parking Enforcement Specialists with duties during events, parking needs and other jobs as needed.
