About The Position

The Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-driven decision making across manufacturing and fulfillment operations. This role is responsible for analyzing production and operational data, identifying inefficiencies, and leading initiatives that improve cost, throughput, quality, and service levels. The Sr. Analyst partners closely with Manufacturing, Fulfillment, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations leadership to translate data into actionable insights, support planning and forecasting activities, and drive continuous improvement across the end-to-end manufacturing network.

Requirements

  • Four (4) plus years of related work experience
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI)
  • Strong understanding and mastery of forecasting and supply chain planning processes and analytics
  • Excellent process improvement, process design and change/program management skills
  • Highly analytical, organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to write routine reports and prepare influential communications (email, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to speak effectively and present data to different groups within the organization including executives
  • Excellent mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Able to multi-task for a variety of projects/initiatives, including executing and delivering results in a timely manner.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related field or equivalent combination of experience.
  • Master’s in business or related technical field a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development of production-planning strategies and activities to maximize the use of the organization’s resources and meet established production specifications and schedules.
  • Support strategic decision-making and the improvement of critical processes such as staffing and capacity planning
  • Develop KPI dashboards and data models to assist in making key business decisions.
  • Analyze various KPIs for turnaround time, capacity, productivity, and forecast accuracy to identify potential risks and report to management.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Develop modeling techniques using machine learning and automation to assist with operational and labor planning.
  • Analyze manufacturing and fulfillment performance across cost, productivity, yield, capacity, downtime, and service metrics
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify root causes and drive improvements
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Support system enhancements, integrations, and automation efforts
