About The Position
As an Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Consultant – Project Accounting, you will play a key role in supporting a leading banking customer by ensuring smooth operations of the Project Accounting and Project Financials modules. This hybrid role requires strong functional expertise, proactive problem‑solving, and close collaboration with both onsite business users and offshore support teams. You will be responsible for resolving business‑critical issues, monitoring scheduled jobs, and implementing enhancements that improve system functionality and user experience. In this role, you will: Act as the onsite functional expert for Oracle Cloud ERP Project Accounting, supporting daily operations and business users. Provide L2/L3 support for Project Accounting and Project Financials, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Coordinate with offshore teams to monitor scheduled jobs and maintain system performance. Analyze and resolve functional issues across project costing, payables inbound, and fixed asset outbound. Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into configuration changes, extensions, or reports. Collaborate with development teams on customizations, testing, and deployment activities. Validate quarterly Oracle patches, advise stakeholders on risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Document solutions, SOPs, and user guides to support knowledge sharing and consistency. Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience in Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud – Project Accounting, Project Financials, Project Costing.
- Deep knowledge of project accounting configuration and business processes.
- Experience integrating Project Financials with Payables and Fixed Assets.
- Expertise in functional configuration and troubleshooting within Oracle Cloud ERP Project Accounting.
- Experience in issue resolution, functional analysis, and enhancement implementation.
- Solid understanding of accounting rules, journal processing, and financial reporting.
- Functional knowledge of Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
- Hands‑on experience building OTBI and BIP reports.
