We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer, supporting one of our premier programs in the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business units. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products and your knowledge with regards developing plans and procedures, debugging and evaluating system functions and interfaces, developing test environments, and working hand-in-hand with our integration teams and customers will be put to good use. The work is on-site in Aurora, CO.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience
  • Experience with hands-on systems integration and test in an Agile, CI/CD environment
  • Experience with Agile execution, backlog planning and prioritization
  • Experience integrating across DevSecOps environments
  • Experience in Operational and sustainment experience in a 24/7 operational environment
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
  • Development experience in project domain (e.g., mission management ground systems, space-based ISR platforms)
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Experience in Test Automation (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher)
  • Experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux operating system, Cloud environments
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued DOD TS/SCI is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team
  • Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues
  • Work in an Agile program environment
