About The Position

In this role, you will impact the organization by ensuring that procurement activities align with business objectives, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and contributing to overall financial performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies for machining components that align with organizational goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Oversee complex procurement projects related to machining, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery. Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE 6 plus years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, specifically in machining operations. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Proficient in procurement software and tools relevant to machining procurement. Expertise in managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with procurement standards. In-depth knowledge of machining processes, materials, and technologies, including CNC machining, tooling, and fabrication methods. Experience in evaluating machining suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance. Ability to analyze machining specifications and requirements to ensure optimal sourcing decisions. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to assess machining requirements and capabilities. Experience in conducting technical assessments of machining components to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications. Requirements

  • 6 plus years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, specifically in machining operations.
