About The Position

InterMetro Industries is seeking a Temporary - Senior Product Engineering Custom for our R & D Department. This role provides customers with complete solutions through the development of application specific solutions, conceives, designs, establishes pricing, and oversees execution of customer specific product requirements. This is a temporary role. Primary Responsibilities: Design unique custom products and assist in the development of standard products while working directly with customers and Sales/Marketing teams. Support product strategy and assure that custom products are developed in a timely manner for manufacturability, profitability, and to exceed customer expectations. Design custom products that assure appropriate Gross Margin through innovative design, appropriate materials and processes for forecasted quantities to support incremental sales and drive profitability. Generate timely response of custom quotations at the request of Sales. Create project documentation and coordinate with other departments to ensure complete and timely response to the customer. Ensure technical design accuracy through review of production drawings. Schedule/oversee prototypes or production of products to assure timely and accurate completion of orders that meet customer expectations. Be responsive to the sales team with engineering solutions, technical information, and completion of projects to optimize customer satisfaction. Support a customer-driven culture; protect and enhance our Brands globally, through the design of custom products that support the Brand promise. Support Custom Products through evaluation of competing products and provide internal feedback. Assists in planning, monitoring, and/or managing budget in functional area of department. Guides work of others who perform essentially the same work. May organize, set priorities, schedule and review work, but has no responsibility to hire, terminate, review performance, or make pay decisions. Employee: Possess knowledge and understanding of the Code of Business Ethics. Contribute to a workplace environment that is conducive to the maintenance of the Code. Remain alert and sensitive to situations that could result in actions by an employee that are illegal, unethical, in violation of the Code or the policies and procedures that support the Code. Report actual or perceived violations of the Code or Company policies and procedures for appropriate action. Other duties, as assigned.
