About the position

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Alliances, you’ll work with the go-to-market partner team to create and execute Illumio’s strategic technology and cloud partnership plans. Your work will accelerate co-sell motions, partner campaigns, joint value propositions, and field enablement—driving awareness and demand through Illumio’s growing partner ecosystem. This is a high-impact role for a strategic marketer who excels at storytelling, thrives in cross-functional environments, and is passionate about translating complex technology into differentiated joint solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the joint messaging, positioning, and value propositions for key alliances and technology partners (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud NVIDA, Netskope, Wiz and Armis).
  • Create partner-specific content and assets, including solution briefs, sales enablement materials, webinars, and campaign collateral.
  • Support partner launches, product integrations, and ecosystem announcements in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Partner teams.
  • Build and execute integrated go-to-market plans to generate demand and pipeline through alliance channels.
  • Act as the primary marketing liaison to Business Development and Partner Sales teams.
  • Track and measure performance of alliance marketing programs, adjusting strategy as needed to maximize impact.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3 in partner or alliance-focused roles at a B2B SaaS or cybersecurity company.
  • Proven success building and executing go-to-market plans with strategic technology partners.
  • Strong storytelling, positioning, and messaging skills.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication abilities—comfortable working across Marketing, Product, Sales, and external partners.
  • Understanding of enterprise security buyers and the cybersecurity market landscape.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with or marketing to public cloud or hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust, segmentation, or breach containment strategies.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or technical field.
