About The Position

T-Mobile is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead sustainability strategy and execution across our Workplace Experience construction and corporate real estate portfolio. This role will advance our sustainability roadmap within design and construction, driving measurable progress toward our net zero 2040 commitment. Building on established strategy and early pilots, this leader will scale programs across embodied carbon accounting, decarbonization roadmapping, utility data management, waste diversion, and capital planning integration. The role requires a strong program integrator who understands design and construction, can manage expert consultants, and can translate sustainability strategy into enterprise-level execution across a complex, nationwide portfolio. This role may also lead non-sustainability construction programs as needed. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Construction and operates within a highly collaborative, matrixed environment with visibility to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of sustainability initiatives aligned with T-Mobile’s net zero 2040 goals.
  • Scale and operationalize pilots in embodied carbon, facility condition assessments, and decarbonization planning.
  • Integrate sustainability into capital planning and construction delivery processes.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks to track carbon, energy, and waste performance.
  • Oversee embodied carbon accounting across tenant improvement and capital projects.
  • Manage consultants utilizing tools such as EC3, Tally, One Click LCA, or similar platforms.
  • Apply life-cycle assessment principles (e.g., A1–A3, A4–A5) to inform design and procurement decisions.
  • Partner with Design, Construction, Facilities, and landlords to advance sustainable building strategies.
  • Centralize and standardize utility data (electricity, gas, water) across a distributed portfolio.
  • Support building system audits and decarbonization analyses to inform capital replacement and carbon forecasting.
  • Lead through influence across Procurement, Finance, Facilities, Workplace Design, and corporate reporting teams.
  • Provide accurate sustainability data to internal ESG reporting partners and present program updates to leadership.
