About The Position

Freese and Nichols is seeking Sr. Project Manager – W/WW Treatment in Oklahoma City or Tulsa, OK . As Sr. Project Manager, you will lead treatment projects in Oklahoma, bringing strong technical judgment and steady project leadership to a growing portfolio where client relationships and work are already established. What You’ll Do Lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater treatment projects across Oklahoma Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk while maintaining clear, proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders Provide senior technical direction and quality oversight for complex studies, designs, and deliverables Coordinate multi-discipline teams and resources to keep work moving with continuity, consistency, and quality Make independent engineering decisions on methods and approaches, adapting advanced techniques to project needs Stay current on applicable regulations and treatment technology trends and apply them to project solutions Support project setup through closeout, including contract administration and coordination with subconsultants as needed Mentor and guide engineers and technical staff through coaching, review, and day-to-day technical leadership Qualifications Required B.S. degree in Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) registration 8+ years of related engineering experience Preferred Experience leading municipal water and wastewater treatment projects as a project manager or project technical lead Experience coordinating project teams across disciplines and offices Experience serving as engineer of record and sealing treatment-related deliverables, as applicable Familiarity with Oklahoma regulatory environment, permitting, and stakeholder coordination for treatment projects About Freese and Nichols At the heart of our culture is our LEADS values ( L earn continuously, E ngage as family, A ct with integrity, D eliver quality, and S erve always). Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration
  • 8+ years of related engineering experience
