About The Position

You will report directly to our Sr. Quality Control Manager, and you’ll work out of our Woburn, MA location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the quality control function by ensuring that products meet high-quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements, ultimately contributing to the overall success and reputation of our organization.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards
• Experience working in ERP Systems
• Familiar with route cause analysis and principles.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools.
• Experience in managing a team.
• Experience in conducting comprehensive quality inspections and tests.
• Due to U.S. export control laws, candidate must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or individual with asylum/refugee status).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Background in electronics
• IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive change.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality Control Inspection team, providing strong leadership, guidance, and support.
• Managing the daily scheduling of product inputs and outputs for receiving, in-process and final inspection.
• Providing daily inspection status and strategic planning with procurement, program management, engineering, configuration and manufacturing teams.
• Resolving quality issues and enhance product quality.
• Develop, implement, and continually improve robust quality control procedures and processes.
• Maintaining and reporting key Quality metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Managing and coordinating training for the site.
• IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.
• Internal Audits per AS9100 requirements.
