About The Position
Senior Radiological Controls Technician (Sr. RCT) - Multiple Year Contract ReNuke Services is hiring Senior Radiological Controls Technicians to support a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing client. This is a hands-on, fast-paced production environment where radiological conditions change frequently, and technicians work closely with operations teams to maintain safe radiological work practices. This role differs from DOE or commercial nuclear outage work. It is continuous production support requiring strong judgment, quick decision-making, and frequent interaction with non-radiological workers. Nice To Haves
- NRRPT certification strongly preferred
- Experience in radiopharmaceutical, laboratory, or production environments
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-use radiological surveys
- Verify dose rates, contamination levels, and postings
- Serve on the Emergency / Rapid Response Team
- Perform frequent decontamination of personnel, tools, and work areas
- Provide personal radiological coverage on production lines
- Teach and coach employees on radiological safety and procedures
- Segregate and manage radioactive waste
- Work in a physically active, field-based role (on feet 80-100% of the day; lift up to 50 lbs)
