About The Position

SkyWater Technology is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to expand our team and support the growth of the Company. This role will be involved in various aspects of our operational accounting and financial reporting requirements. This position will also work closely with the finance and SEC reporting teams.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Experience and Skills: 5+ years in Accounting with a preference of public accounting and technical accounting in industry experience.
Organized and proactive with an ability to manage multiple activities in a timely manner.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite ERP is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Significant contributor in our month-end and quarter-end close processes which includes journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Analyze revenue contracts for ASC 606 implications and track/record revenue on a monthly basis.
Prepare and review inventory standards.
Adherence to SOX control requirements.
Team with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Prepare and perform preliminary review of balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with financial statement audit, tax audit & compliance, and lender audits.
Other projects as assigned
