About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician who is strong in either Installation or Service and is ready to grow into a Field Project Manager–type role. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys owning jobs in the field, coordinating work, and serving as the technical lead on projects. What You’ll Do Install, program, service, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic security systems including: Access control panels, door position switches, card readers, sensors, turnstiles Analog and IP cameras, VMS platforms, recording appliances Intercoms, anti-tailgating devices, and electrified door hardware Lead field execution on projects: Act as the point person for jobsite coordination Oversee installs and service calls from start to completion Communicate with PMs, clients, and internal teams to keep projects on track Diagnose, repair, and maintain systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime Perform system inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance Troubleshoot electrified door hardware and ensure proper integration with access control systems Terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical and data wiring Utilize hand and power tools while adhering to code requirements and manufacturer specifications Support clients with system operation, user training, and technical guidance

Requirements

  • Actively working in electronic security (commercial environments)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and system-level understanding
  • Comfortable taking ownership of jobs in the field
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Interest in mentoring junior technicians or leading installs

Responsibilities
