About The Position

The Sr. Service Desk Technician is responsible for performing advanced technical analysis, solution design, and implementation of end-user computing systems. This role applies systems analysis techniques to evaluate operating systems, software, hardware, and workflows, and design and implement scalable technical solutions. The position operates with a high degree of independent judgment and discretion, serves as an escalation point for complex technical issues, and contributes to the design and continuous improvement of IT support systems, tools, and processes. This is a full-time hybrid/remote position open to candidates located within the U.S.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support or service desk environments.
  • Strong expertise in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with endpoint management tools and scripting.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience supporting enterprise environments.
  • Powershell scripting/automation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical requirements and design system-level solutions for end-user computing environments.
  • Design, configure, test, and deploy operating system configurations, software packages, and system integrations.
  • Perform systems analysis to evaluate OS performance, software behavior, and endpoint reliability.
  • Develop and maintain scripts, automations, or technical tools to improve system performance and support efficiency.
  • Serve as the highest escalation point for issues requiring in-depth technical analysis and solution design.
  • Architect and continuously improve service desk systems, workflows, and technical standards.
  • Lead technical decision-making related to endpoint platforms and support technologies.
  • Document system designs, configurations, and technical procedures.
