Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with at least 3–5 years on active industrial or major civil construction sites, such as industrial plants, dams, spillways, or other construction types requiring significant concrete works.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete structures, industrial foundations, and heavy civil construction methods.
• Experience supervising contractors, conducting QA/QC inspections, and reviewing engineering documentation.
• Experience with ITPs, concrete testing, rebar inspection, and geotechnical site interfaces.
• Ability and willingness to travel 60–80% of the time, including extended site assignments.
• Strong technical and analytical skills in civil/structural engineering.
• Ability to work independently on construction sites while coordinating with remote teams.
• High attention to detail and ability to enforce quality and safety standards.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to interface with and maintain good relationships with project stakeholders is key.
• Strong organizational discipline and ability to manage multiple field activities in parallel.
• Commitment to safety and quality in all construction activities.

Nice To Haves

• Direct experience with slip-form concrete construction is highly preferred.
• Industry background in cement, power, steel, mining, or petrochemical construction is an advantage.
• ACI/AASHTO Field Technician Certifications are preferred but not required.
• General understanding of mechanical and structural steel installation is helpful, and the ability to interface with other disciplines is preferred.
