About The Position

Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr Software Architect (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Design and implement requirement-driven software architecture concepts. Analyze, refine, and manage complex software engineering requirements collaboratively within internal teams. Define and drive optimal software deployment strategies across multicore microcontrollers and microprocessors. Perform optimization techniques, hardware/software resource utilization, data consistency, and synchronization mechanisms. Expert-level knowledge in standardizing software interfaces and services, particularly adaptive AUTOSAR. Design robust, scalable software solutions aligning with AUTOSAR specifications. Adept at providing comprehensive technical support and clarification in software engineering areas, facilitating continuous development, integration, testing, and deployment processes. Proficient in modern CI/CD practices and automate testing methodologies to ensure software reliability and quality. Track, contribute to, and lead technical discussions effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enable effective collaboration and alignment in complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Requirement-based Software architecture concept development and implementations. Drive optimal software deployment strategies (e.g. SW distribution on multicore micro controllers / Microprocessors, optimization of HW/SW utilization, data consistency mechanisms etc.). Role will supervise: 3 employees - (2 Senior Software Architects, 1 Staff SW Engineer).

Requirements

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Systems Integration Engineer – Automotive Software, or occupation involving embedded software architecture.
  • AUTOSAR integration, real-time systems (C/C++)
  • CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins within the automotive industry
  • Multicore deployment, vehicle communication protocols (CAN and Ethernet)
  • Debugging (Lauterbach or CANalyzer)
  • POSIX-based inter-process communication (shared memory, message queues, or semaphores)
  • Performance optimization in safety-critical systems
  • Integration and debugging of Adaptive or Classic AUTOSAR stacks.
