About the position

As a Software Engineer on our team, you will help the team in developing a full stack Applicant Tracking System (ATS) web application. Work closely with product owners, architects, and developers across the organization. You are up for the challenges of product development with existing and new infrastructure. Joining a growth focused Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions company, you are a part of a product application development team working on Payroll & Tax, Time & Attendance, Applicant Tracking and Human Resources. Actualizing our product roadmap; you own technical output. Providing empathy for our user base and collaboration with peers across the organization with: software engineering teams, product managers, operations and our executive team. You support the growth and success of our business through best-in-class software products for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain ATS software
  • Maintain customer focus and understand your team's charter
  • Write testable, readable, maintainable and efficient code
  • Experience with application observability, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tools a plus
  • Collaborate with your team on best practices, effective code reviewing and continual process improvements
  • Contribute in scrum ceremonies including the daily stand up, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, software development related field, or similar work experience
  • Experience working with .Net
  • AWS experience or an Associate level certification is an advantage
  • 5+ years of work history in full stack production engineering experience, in a SaaS software environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with application observability
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools
