Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 4 plus years of hands-on software development experience

Nice To Haves

  • Strong experience with Java and server‑side development
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or jQuery
  • Knowledge of database technologies including PostgreSQL and SQL
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git and SVN
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks
  • Understanding of HTTP and RESTful services
  • Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
  • Basic understanding of Tomcat and Apache servers
  • Ability to write and interpret native SQL queries
  • Python skills (plus) with exposure to frameworks like CherryPy or Twisted
  • Experience with Linux and shell scripting (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level web and server side applications using Java and JavaScript technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with Lead Engineers, product teams, and cross functional partners to gather requirements and support ongoing sustaining engineering initiatives.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback to elevate code quality and team performance.
  • Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure timely, high quality project execution.
