Jaan Health is expanding, and we’re looking for experienced Sr. Software Engineers / Tech Leads to help architect, build, and scale the next generation of our AI-powered virtual care platform, Phamily. Our SaaS platform, Phamily, provides healthcare systems and physicians with an AI-powered virtual care platform that enables them to efficiently and easily manage the chronic conditions and general healthcare needs of their patients between office visits, while also enhancing their own reimbursement and financial sustainability in the process. Requirements

• 7+ years full-cycle and full-stack experience (preferably Ruby on Rails + JS/Vue)
• Managed a team of at least 2 engineers
• You’ve built, shipped, and maintained production SaaS systems for years
• Strong architectural instincts and ability to coach others
• Clear communicator with high signal and low ego
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience

• Healthcare, HL7/FHIR, data ingestion, ML/LLM interest

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers across projects
• Architect and build full-stack feature end-to-end (Ruby on Rails, Python, SQL, JS/Vue/React)
• Drive technical vision, code quality standards, and engineering best practices
• Communicate complex concepts simply and help technical and non-technical teams align
• Ship quickly in iterative cycles: prototype, launch, iterate, scale
• Make pragmatic trade-offs to deliver value fast while maintaining product integrity
• Use AI tools to speed up engineering output for yourself and your team
• Build, maintain, and scale SaaS products that serve real patients and clinicians
• Own migrations, services, APIs, and long-term maintainability
