Sr. Software Engineer (Remote CST/EST) - (6068)
About The Position
In this role you’ll be the primary DevOps engineer for the Vulnerability Management Development team. You’ll work to make sure our infrastructure is responsive and resilient. You’ll work with individual developers to create a productive development environment on their local machines. You’ll work with the overall team to design and deploy our application architecture in a container environment. You’ll ensure our systems are secure by following relevant standards and performing patching and upgrades. You’ll constantly research and suggest new tools or methodologies which can make our development more productive, well-tested, and secure.
Requirements
- 7yrs+ Tech and Enterprise industry work experience
- Right to work in the country of residence for a minimum of 24 months
- Fluent English communication skills required
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and OpenStack
- Significant experience with Ansible operation and playbook creation
- Bash shell scripting experience
- Experience creating and maintaining Python development environments on both Windows (preferably using WSL2) and MacOS systems
- Extensive experience with Github
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience in Linux system administration
- Strong ability to manage projects
- Experience with Postgres databases
- Experience with Python programming
- Independent and proactive contributator
- Project owner with confidence and leadership attributes
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Helm chart development or Kustomize
- Experience managing cloud environments such as AWS or GCS
- AI knowledge and experience
- A breast of tech product market trends
- Previous tech experience: Cisco, Meta, Google, Apple, Microsoft
