About The Position

S&S Activewear, the leading nationwide distribution company in the apparel and fashion industry is seeking a highly skilled Sr Software Engineer to join our growing Software Engineering Team to help build and evolve our highly transactional eCommerce platforms and core business systems. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance scalable, high-performance applications and APIs using C# and modern .NET technologies. You’ll play a critical part in powering our ordering systems, integrations, and customer-facing solutions, working across a modern UI stack and collaborating closely with product, UX, and business stakeholders. You’ll contribute to business-critical initiatives with real customer impact, while innovating on a fully in-house developed web platform and ERP system. Our teams operate in a fully agile, product-driven environment that encourages ownership, technical influence, architectural improvement, and the delivery of high-quality solutions at scale.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software development experience with Object Oriented programming languages including.NET [//including.NET] (C#/VB.Net [//VB.Net]), Java, and Python
  • Experience in APIs and JSON (5+ years)
  • Experience of front-end software development using HTML/CSS/JavaScript (3+ years)
  • Experience with relational database like Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle required (3+ years)
  • Comfortable building features integrating with external services over APIs.
  • Familiarity working in Agile development environment.
  • Self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Apply industry best practices and techniques to design, develop, test, deploy, support and maintain custom developed suite of dot Net applications based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop new features.
  • Identify and correct the software defects to maintain the existing software systems.
  • Maintain code quality through unit testing.
  • Contribute towards the timely completion of development tasks and small projects while applying company standards.
