A Day in the Life Day in the Life • Tests the functionality and performance of medical device software systems and software applications. • Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in medical device software systems and software applications. • Develop automation scripts using tools such as Python and other scripting languages • Support the development of system and software requirements • Create test plans, test protocols, and test reports used for regulatory submissions. • Execute test protocols for medical devices software systems • Ensures medical device software systems and software applications meet technical and functional requirements. • Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements. • Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models. • Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies. • Conduct tool validation activities • Manages completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with others • Additional duties as assigned Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. TECHNICAL SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies – from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills. Requirements

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience OR PhD with 0 years relevant experience.

• Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated industries
• Experience with test case management software tools
• Experience with scripting software (Python or similar)
• Experience with requirements management tools (Polarion, DOORS, etc…)
• Experience with developing and maintaining automated testing systems
• Experience with testing software-controlled hardware devices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Security and Risk analysis
