Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement computer and network software, as well as specialized utility programs.
  • Manage the software development lifecycle, including the coordination, prioritization, and communication across the business product areas.
  • Build and realize the strategy for the teams to support the dynamic needs of the SAMS business.
  • Full Agile and DevOps model in partnership of SAMS business-designing/developing software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs.
  • Lead application components of moderate complexity, with guidance from manager.
  • Create scalable, testable, efficient software solutions and ensure designs are following specifications.
  • Interact with stakeholders, product owner, business, QA to guarantee high-quality software delivery within the deadlines.
  • Collaborate with team members to write stories, design, prioritize tasks, and streamline release processes.
  • Actively contribute to development tasks when needed and provide guidance to team members.
  • Analyze problems, propose solutions, and lead troubleshooting efforts in both development and production environments.
  • Uphold software quality standards through code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 60 months of progressive, post-bachelor's experience.
  • Alternatively, Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 36 months of related experience.
  • Experience must include 12 months of experience in each of the following skills: Java spring boot framework and JPA; SQL language and query optimizations to improve performance of queries; Data Structures and Algorithms to solve business problems; JUNIT framework to test and maintain high quality code; Axioma third party libraries and reading documentation, building business flows, and troubleshooting issues with integration; Implementing portfolio optimization techniques; and Cloud platforms (AWS) to deploy solutions in highly scalable environments.
