Our mission is simple: Innovation Without Limitation. We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant who thrives on accuracy, accountability, and collaboration. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining financial integrity, supporting month-end close, and ensuring our financial data supports smart business decisions across the organization. This is a remote position, but we are specifically seeking candidates located in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. What You’ll Do As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will help ensure the accuracy and reliability of our financial operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general accounting practices and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Experience working with financial systems and accounting software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Record and post daily financial transactions accurately
- Verify entries across the general ledger, supplier ledger, and customer ledger
- Perform month-end close activities and support financial reporting
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and cost accounting processes
- Prepare financial reports and maintain accounting records within company systems
- Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
