Purpose To assist the development and alumni relations team in orchestrating a large scale alumni solicitation campaign in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the country’s birth.

Requirements

  • The right candidate will have strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability communicate clearly and effectively with LBJ School alumni.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • A preference for candidates skilled in Canva and who have prior experience working in fundraising or alumni relations.

Responsibilities

  • The student worker will be working with the development and alumni relations team to connect with alumni via email/phone, create and help organize alumni mailings, assist in the creation of student testimonial videos, and any other duties needed to complete a large scale solicitation campaign.
  • Contact alumni to collect updated contact information
  • Create content associated with email/mail/video solicitations and stewardship
  • Provide administrative support for the solicitation project
